Welcome To Green Heron Adventures
BEAUFORT & HILTON HEAD, SC SIGHT FISHING CHARTERS
Year round we love to sight fish for red fish (red drum) in shallow water with both fly rods and light tackle! The expansive and beautiful marshes and waterways surrounding Beaufort, and Hilton Head Island, SC are an ideal environment to pursue our passion.
Capt. Rob specializes in saltwater fly fishing and inshore light tackle fishing for red fish. Seasonally, anglers could have shots at sea trout, flounder, tripletail, jack crevalle, cobia and tarpon in addition to red fish. All trips include licenses, equipment and are done on a comfortable, 19 foot Beryllium flats skiff hand built by Chris Morejohn.

Two Angler Max | Catch and Release Only | All Licenses and Fishing Equipment Provided
3/4 Day (6 Hrs)
3/4 day trips are perfect for avid fly and light tackle anglers wanting to do some serious sight fishing for red fish any time of the year. These trips are also your best bet for targeting cobia, jack crevalle, and tripletail when they are in the area.
Half Day (4 Hrs)
If a 3/4 and full day is more than you are looking for I do offer half day trips. Most of these trips are focused on sight fishing for red fish but seasonally opportunities for cobia, jack crevalle, and tripletail can present themselves.
Flood Tide Fishing
Flood tide fishing is a style of flats fishing that is so geographically unique to this area that it deserves its own category! From April through November our red fish put on a “tailing” show as they take advantage of high tides to feed on fiddler crabs in grass flats.
Dont see what you’re looking for? Full day trips, flood tide trips, and trips months in advance are often not visible for instant booking on my calendar but are available via call/text/email. I can also coordinate multi boat trips, camping trips, family trips, and other special request. If I am not available look up Capt. Jon Gore with Indigo Fishing Charters in the Beaufort, SC area.
